The name Alice Blue came from a pale shade of blue that was favored by Alice Roosevelt Longworth, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt. Established in 2005 by Tisha Gonzalez and Vencer Viray, Alice Blue Candles started offering its hand-poured soy wax candles in the Philippines. It was envisioned to elevate the standards of home fragrance available domestically. Their aromatic candles came as a result of extensive research and development in creating high quality, beautifully aromatic candles.
Alice Blue candles deliver long-lasting and strongly scented aromas that fill the room when lit. The quality of the soy wax guarantees a soot-less burn that would otherwise taint the fragrance. Each Alice Blue candle is locally manufactured from both local and imported raw materials; and hand-poured under strict quality standards and control at its facility.
It wasn’t too long ago that Gonzalez and Viray personally cooked the wax and poured them into glasses themselves. Growth and an expanding market to include exports, enabled them to employ workers beyond the original lean staff of four. It has since expanded to other fine home fragrance products that include candle melters, reed diffusers, ionizing oils and room sprays.
All Alice Blue Candles are handmade and hand-poured using only 100% high-grade natural soy wax or vegetable wax. A wide range of premium essential and fragrance oils are carefully selected to blend with its products. And the best news is that soy wax is biodegradable, carbon-neutral, non-toxic and don’t pollute the air.
